Jeanette Marie Duggan, 89, of Marseilles, passed away Wednesday October 12, 2016 at her home.

A memorial mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday Oct. 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marseilles, Rev. Anthony Ego officiating, with visitation following the mass in the church hall. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles is handling the arrangements.

Jeanette was born February 25, 1927 in Marseilles to Adolph and Giovanna (Caveglia) Tio. In 1947, she married George Duggan of Marseilles who preceded her in death in 2012.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of America, the Elks Club, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She had been employed by Illinois Bell and The Times.

Jeanette is survived by one daughter, Susan (Daniel) Pardo of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one son, David of Marseilles.

She was preceded in death by her husband; five sisters, Margaret Sengotta, Katherine Benassi, Irene Mondoni, Geraldine Brodbeck and Amalia Tio in infancy; and two brothers, John and James Tio.
