Janice Marie Datti, 78, of Marseilles, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Pleasant View Lutheran Home.

A private Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Fr. Ryan Mattingly and Deacon Ron Wackerlin officiating. Burial was in Nichol Cemetery in Marseilles. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements and cremation rites.

Janice was born on September 26, 1947, in Streator, IL, to Adolph R. and Antoinette P. (Kasprowicz) Kline. On June 15, 1968, she married Eugene Wayne Datti of Ottawa who survives.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marseilles. She built her life around what mattered most to her, which was her faith and her family.

Janice is survived by her husband of 58 years, Eugene; two daughters, Jamie (James) Kalan of Oswego, IL and Jackie (Richard) Berti of Shorewood, IL; four grandchildren, Jordyn and Teagan Kalan and Evan and Madison Berti; and her beloved poodle, Gracie.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
