James R. Roe, 36, of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019 in Poteau, OK from a tragic accident.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 18 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles with Reverend Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday prior to the service.

James was born February 4, 1983, in Ottawa to John and Rosemarie (Higgins) Roe. In his free time James enjoyed drawing and was a very talented tattoo artist. James had a great personality and could always make you smile no matter your mood. He was also a great cook.

James is survived by his mother and step-father, Rose and Dave Linn of Ottawa; father and step-mother, John and Donna Roe of Marseilles; one brother, Mark (Jamie) Lewis of Morris; one sister, Jennifer (Tom) McCague of Ottawa; one step-sister, Crystal Linn DeLong of Ottawa; one step-brother Curt Linn of Ottawa; his girlfriend, Kim Couch; two aunts, one uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Traci Lewis; one cousin, Jason Higgins; and his grandparents.
