Jacob W. Maske, 19, of Marseilles, passed away peacefully Friday, December 14, 2018 at home surrounded by his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Rev Bill Clark of the Marseilles Church of the Nazarene officiating. Memorial visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

He was born March 1, 1999, in Joliet, IL, to Frederick W. Maske Jr. and Mary C. Payton.

Jacob enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and riding dirt bikes. He had a knack for working on mechanical things, such as motors, cars, and dirt bikes. He was a generous, caring person who would do anything for anyone.

He is survived by his mother, Mary (Mike) Payton of Marseilles; his father, Frederick (Amy Landram) Maske of Marseilles; siblings, Jenna and Jared Maske, Zach Payton, Brendan Simpson, and Brody Maske; grandparents, Robert and Margaret Brockman, Janet Libner, Frederick and Barbara Maske, and Brenda and Thomas Pope; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jacob was preceded in death by a grandfather, Joseph Libner; his grandparents, Mike and Wanda Payton; and one uncle, Michael Libner.
