Obituary

Irma Margaret Glover, 84, of Danway, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at her daughter's home surrounded by her children and family.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, January 14 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Deacon Ron Wackerlin officiating. Burial will be in Norway Cemetery.

Irma was born on October 23, 1937, in Naperville, to John and Margaret (Wilde) Kueffner. In 1957, she married Stanley Glover, who preceded her in death in 2017.

She was employed at Viking Village and at the Norway Store. She was a member of the Fox River Lutheran Church. She enjoyed doing cross stich, baking, yardwork, and gardening, along with being a farmer's wife and homemaker. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandkids.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Brent) Brooks of Twin Lakes, WI; two sons, Ronald (Kim) Glover of Ottawa and Donald Glover of Somonauk; one granddaughter, Crystal (Doug) Johann; five great-grandchildren, Ethan, Liam, Connor, Wilhelm, and Tai Johann; and one sister, Fran (John) McCall.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley; one sister, Bernice Franklin; and a daughter-in-law, Carla Glover.

Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.

Pallbearers will be Ethan and Liam Johann, Coleton and Chuck Frieders, Ron Riveland, and Bryan Benedetti. Jerry Enger will be an honorary pallbearer.
