Hazel Farmer, 90, of Marseilles, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021, at her home.

Funeral services will be private with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Hazel was born on October 1, 1931, in Ottawa, to Dee and Pearl (Seaborn) Burress. On August 13, 1951, she married Doyle Farmer of Marseilles, who preceded her in death in 2014.

She was employed by Dan-Jac in Marseilles for many years. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, and especially her grandchildren.

Hazel is survived by her daughter, Betty Willard of Marseilles; four grandchildren, Rodney and Nicole Willard, Alicia Farmer, and Angela Young; five great-grandchildren, Andrew, Ashley, Zackary, Cameron, and Chelsea; and one great-great-granddaughter, Kennedy Grace.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle; a daughter, Patsy Farmer, a son, Charles Farmer; one grandson, Scott Willard; and three sisters, Lillian Goodin, Doris Read, And Stella Callahan.
