Galena Mae Lowery's Obituary
Galena Mae Lowery, 99, of DeKalb, formerly of Marseilles, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Reverend Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
Galena was born April 4, 1918 in Richland Center, WI, to Ernest and Eva (Miller) Lowery.
She was employed by Nabisco for 34 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Golden Era and had been a volunteer at Reruns.
Galena is survived by two sisters-in-law, Betty Lowery of Marseilles and Patricia Ann Lowery of Ottawa; one step-sister, Mickey Redford of Marseilles; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Keith, Kenneth, William, and Ernest Lowery Jr.; and one sister, Mabel Ruff.
