Felipe "Phil" Rivera, 80, of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025 at his home.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Monday, August 25 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. John Nordstrom officiating.

Phil was born on August 23, 1944, in Jalisco, Mexico, to Francisco and Macaria (Pena) Rivera. On May 18, 1984, he married Janie Longoria of Victoria, TX who survives.

He was employed by Pleasant View Luther Home as a custodian until his retirement. He enjoyed landscaping and loved to cut grass.

Phil is survived by his wife, Janie; seven children; eight step-children; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild; and his siblings, Lupe, Maria, and Martina.

He was preceded in death by one son, Martin and his parents.
