Eugene J. Raschke, 78, of Marseilles, formerly of Joliet, passed away December, 6, 2020 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Funeral services with social distancing will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Deacon Ron Wackerlin officiating. Military honors will follow funeral services. Visitation will be prior to services from 3-6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

He was born on November 25, 1942, in Chicago, to Bernard and Cecelia (Suczynski) Raschke. In 1993, he married Carolyn Cartalino of Chicago who survives.

Eugene served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Central Can and Royal Crown until his retirement. He was an avid motorcyclist.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; seven children, Bill (Carol) Sill and Joe Sill, Carrie Sill, Lisa (Brad) Morgan, Dean (Jill) Raschke, Sara Raschke, and Becky (Adam) Raschke; eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert; and one sister, Bernie Niziolek.

Pallbearers will be Bill Sill, Joe Sill, David Sill, Charles Feager, and Sean Sill.
