Edward H. Waters, 75, of Peru, formerly of Ottawa and Marseilles, passed away Tuesday August 23, 2016, at his home.

Funeral services will be private. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Ed was born October 7, 1940 in Marseilles, to Howard and Viola (Foster) Waters.

He was an electrician until his retirement and then enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and playing golf.

Ed is survived by two daughters, Lori Waters of Ottawa and Janice (Clifford) Waters Boback of Buckingham; three grandchildren, Eddie, Jacob and Jessica; four great-grandchildren, Jazmine, Koby, Austin and Gavin; one sister, Mitzie (David) McCarty of Leggett, TX; Betty's children, Rose (Jim) Bender, Dena (Bob) Giuliano, John (Mary) Buccafurri and Kenny (Barb) Buccafurri, and her grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Cheri Waters and Bonnie Glazier, and his friend of many years, Betty Buccafurri.

Memorials may be given to the Marseilles Public Library.
