Doris Jean Tisler, 72, of Marseilles, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, July 3 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Tvrdik of First Baptist Church of Marseilles officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview at a later date.

She was born January 2, 1949, in Knifley, KY, to William and Rema (Harden) Frederick. She was married to Dale Tisler of Marseilles who survives.

Doris was employed by Marseilles Bank until her retirement. She was a movie buff, an Elvis fan, and enjoyed doing puzzles.

She is survived by her two daughters, Amy (Reid) Adams of Seneca and Jennifer (Lee) Casebolt of Cedar Rapids, IA; two grandsons, Brenden Tisler and Jeremy Hepner; and three brothers, Terry, Donnie, and Tim (Julie) Frederick.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law, Nancy Frederick.
