Dorinda Lee Hicks, 77, of Mazon, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 20, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.

Dorinda was born December 14, 1939 in Lockport, to Harold and Elaine (Iverson) Fewell. In 1992, she married Kenneth Hicks of Ottawa.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She lived most of her life in Marseilles and Mazon. Dorinda was self-employed, was an exceptional mother and grandmother, and loved cats and books.

Dorinda is survived by her husband, Kenneth; one daughter, Lisa (Randy) Larson of Morris; three sons, Rick Terrell of Marseilles, Steve (Holly) Terrell of Lincoln, Neb., and Mike (Samantha) Terrell of Morris; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ed (Debi) Fewell of Standard.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be given to Just Animals in Mazon or Pet Projects in Marseilles.
