Donald S. Sheedy, 70, of Seneca, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 at his home.

A celebration of life will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 5 at the KC Hall in Ottawa. Arrangements have been entrusted to Seals-Campbell Funeral Home.

He was born December 12, 1951, in Ottawa, to Virgil and Veronica "Babe" (Pyszka) Sheedy.

Donald graduated from Seneca High School. He was employed by Exelon Midwest Generation as a laborer and pipefitter until his retirement.  He was an avid White Sox, Bears, and Notre Dame fan.

He is survived by his five children, Josh (Dawn) Sheedy, Andrea (Tim) Burciaga, Beth (Steven) Hill, David Sheedy, and Lauren (Jeff Bailey) Sheedy; ten grandchildren, Zaria, Autumm, and Espyn Sheedy, Tristin, and Hattilyn Burciaga, Grace and Jalie Sherwood, Jaxson and Graham Bailey, and Alex Young

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jerry Edwards and one sister, Carol Lambakis.
