Donald Wayne Phelps, 64, of LaSalle, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at St. Margaret's Health in Peru.

Funeral services will be held at a later date. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles is assisting with the arrangements.

He was born on December 26, 1957, in Ottawa, to Hubert and Julia (Mejowski) Phelps. On March 9, 1979 he married Toni Kallner of Marseilles who survives.

Donald was employed by Illinois Laundry for many years. He owned and operated D & B Pallet in Peru. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, and the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Toni; his two children, Kellie (John) Kozlowski of Ottawa and William Phelps of LaSalle; one granddaughter, Jessie Kozlowski; two brothers, Steven (Kay) Phelps of Chippewa Falls, WI and Rick (Betty) Phelps of Huntley; his mother, Julia Phelps of WI; and his niece and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert.
