Don C. Gabel, 61, of Marseilles, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019 at OSF Center for Health in Streator.

Services will be private at a later date. There will be no visitation. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles is in charge of arrangements.

Don was born on September 19, 1957, in Chicago. On September 16, 2006, he married Susan Bixler of Rochester, IN who survives.

He was employed by Home Depot in Darien, IL. His favorite song was Here I Go Again by White Snake. He was a loving and caring Papa to his grandchildren.

Don is survived by his wife, Susan; his mother, Nodjas and her husband Gordon; his step-son, Larry Swanson of Minnesota; two loving grandchildren, Cris and Damona; and a sister, Donna Garmont and her husband Phil Unsworth of Oregon.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Garmont and one sister, Renee Hodorowicz.
