Diana Lee Roedel, 83, of Marseilles, passed away Friday April 8, 2022 at Ottawa Pavilion.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 15 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Megan Thompson of the Marseilles Methodist Church officiating.

She was born August 22, 1938, in Coal City, to William and Lillian (Kirsch) Heylek. On September 6, 1958, she married Henry Roedel of Jonesboro, Arkansas who preceded her in death in 1989.

Diana was a Cub Scout Leader and active in the PTA when her children were young. She was employed as a CNA and a dietary aide until her retirement. She enjoyed being a home maker, sewing, crocheting, her involvement in ESDA, and loved bingo and animals.

She is survived by her children, Henry William Roedel, Jr. of Marseilles, Joy Lynn Roedel of Marseilles, Lisa (Pat) Dresen of Ottawa, and Gary Wayne Roedel of Marseilles; two granddaughters, Ashley Dresen of Marseilles and Jessica (Patrick) Breen of Talladega, Alabama; two great-granddaughters, Mia, Ireland "Stickey"; and her brothers, William and Steven Heylek.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; her parents and two sisters, Shirley Campbell and Betty Heylek.
