Debra Lee Thompson, 62, of Marseilles, passed away August 28, 2021 at her home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, September 2 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Debra was born April 11, 1959, in Terre Haute, IN, to Fred and Gilberta (Puckett) Ball. On April 29, 1978, she married Lonny Thompson of Marseilles who survives.

She was a member of the Marseilles United Methodist Church. She was employed by Krogers, Walmart, JC Whitney, and Office Max until her retirement. Debra enjoyed collecting mice figurines, her Christmas village, and seek-and-find puzzles. She was a devoted wife and mother, and she loved her pets. She was the past treasurer for the Marseilles Little League and the Marseilles Boy Scouts of America.

She is survived by her husband, Lonny; a daughter, Nicole (Jason) Sole of Marseilles; and a son, Jordan (Samantha) Thompson of Ottawa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Ball.
