Deborah Darlene Blue, 52, of Marseilles, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018, surrounded by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 17, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Garner of Fox River Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
She was born on March 1, 1965, in Ottawa, to Walter "Toad" and Shelia Darlene (Gash) Blue.
Debbie's family and special friends meant the world to her. She was a huge animal advocate and worked as the vice-president at Spay It Forward in Seneca, IL.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Colton Chase and Liam Walter LaVerne Blue; her mother, Shelia Darlene Blue of Marseilles; 2 brothers, Harvey (Penni) Blue of Sheridan and Ricky (Deb) Blue of Northfield, OH; one nephew, Cody (Jess) Blue; and a niece, Caleigh Blue.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Walter "Toad" Blue.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Honorary pallbearers will be Penni Blue, Cody Blue, Caleigh Blue, Monica Hoelscher, Becky Farrell, Mary Schneider, Jennifer Bileyu, and Jacki Ugolini.
