Debora Sue Leibold Olson

Debora Sue Leibold Olson, 70, of Marseilles, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

Services will be held at a later date. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements and cremation rites.

Debora was born on December 14, 1955, in Aurora, IL, to Phillip and Patricia (Stockton) Surratt. In 2010, she married Rex “Sonny” Olson of Marseilles who preceded her in death in 2016.

She was employed in housekeeping at Ottawa Hospital, Rivershores Nursing Home, and worked as a waitress in many local restaurants. She loved her family and spending time with them. She also enjoyed car shows, flea markets, and camping.

Debora is survived by her children, Daniel Edward Leibold, Cristi Lynn Leibold, Jeffery Scott Leibold; nine grandchildren, Devin, Destiny, Kaleb, Mallroy, and Michaela Leibold, Scott William Eggleston, Sara Verly, John Verly III, and Carter; eight great-grandchildren; her siblings, Phyllis Duffy, Ricky Surratt, and Julie Johnson; and six nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Sonny.
