Darold A. McKee, 87, of Sheridan, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Funeral services will be private. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles is assisting with the arrangements.

He was born on October 11, 1934, in Caldwell County, MO, to Floyd Arthur and Rosa Mae (Scott) McKee. On February 24, 1962, he married Margaret Joan Lamb of Pratt, KS who survives.

Darold served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959 and was stationed in Germany. He was employed as an electrician and was a member of I.B.E.W. until his retirement. He was a member of the Moose Lodge. He and his wife, Joan enjoyed dancing, especially the Waltz.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Joan; one brother, Johnny (Bonnie) McKee of MO; and three sisters, Celinda Rogers, Rosa Fae Morgan, and Frances Wolf, all of MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and three sisters.
