Daniel James Radic, 62, of Ottawa, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at LaSalle County Nursing Home.

A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 29 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. A prayer service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.

He was born on December 2, 1960, in Darien, IL, to Charles Edward and Joan (Pohl) Radic. In 1996, he married Terri Scamen of Ottawa who survives.

Dan dedicated his life to providing for his family. He drove many miles across the United States as a truck driver.

He survived by his wife, Terri; two daughters, Shannon (Chris) Radic and Kayla (Benjamin) Draves; a step-daughter, Brandie Bryan; six grandchildren, Danni Rivara, Emmit and Kamrynn Parochetti, Payten and Jaxsen Draves, and Gavin Bryan; one great-granddaughter, Leah Bryan; a brother, Charles Edward Radic, Jr.; and a niece, Scotlyn Overbay.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
