Daniel William Murray, 84, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday January 18, 2020 at Aperion Care Center in Marseilles.

A celebration of life will be at 12 noon on Saturday February 1 at the Ottawa American Legion. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles is handling arrangements.

He was born April 29, 1935, in Mattoon, IL to Ralph and Lillie (Mitchell) Murray. He was married to Lucy Feaganes of Waynesboro, VA.

Danny served in the U.S. Army and the Marine Corps and was a member of the Ottawa American Legion. He was employed by Burns Machine Company for many years. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing.

He is survived by one daughter, Krista Murray; and one son, David Murray both of Ottawa; and one half-brother, Leo Jordan of Mattoon, IL.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Dixie Murray; and one half-sister, Frieda Logan.
