Dale Michael Tisler, 82, of Marseilles, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Ottawa Pavilion.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Tvrdik officiating. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with military honors. Burial will be in Nichol Cemetery at a later date.

Dale was born September 4, 1939, in Ottawa, to Marshall and Mildred Jo (Lieving) Tisler. In 1969, he married Doris Jean Frederick of Marseilles who preceded him in death on June 30, 2021.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965. He was employed by Borg Warner and GE Plastics until his retirement. He was a member of the Marseilles Lion's Club and the Marseilles Masonic Lodge # 417 A.F. & A.M. Dale was a volunteer with the Marseilles Fire Department for many years.

Dale is survived by his daughters, Amy (Reid) Adams of Marseilles and Jennifer (Lee) Casebolt of Cedar Rapids, IA; two grandsons, Brenden Tisler and Jeremy Hepner; his sister-in-law, Lovina Tisler of WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a brother, Warren Tisler.
