Christine Sue Sampson, 66, of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at her home.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, February 13 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. Funeral services will follow visitation at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Christine was born on July 7, 1959, in Peru, IL, to Sidney and Judy (Elzer) Sampson.

She was employed by Illinois Laundry and Farm and Fleet until her retirement. She loved her grandchildren, and she enjoyed taking them to the park and spoiling them. Christine was a very selfless person with a huge heart, who was always helping others.

She is survived by her life partner, Robert Grossman; her children, Benjamin Sappington, Angela (Richard) Taylor, Stacie Gomez, and Bobby (Tory) Grossman; ten grandchildren, Devin, TyLynn, Gabriela, Liliana, Elaine, Jeniah, Jesiah, Karson, Kassidy, and Jettson; one great-grandson, Scott; three sisters, Laurie (Tom) Maynard, Michelle Moore, and Debbie Sampson; and one brother, John (Alicia) Sampson.

Christine is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jamie LeBeau.
