Christine Elaine McGrath, 71, of Ottawa, passed away on September 20, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Memorial visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, September 26 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Fr. Michael Driscoll officiating.

She was born on July 27, 1951 in Ottawa.

Chris loved her family. She was a selfless mother and grandmother, who always put her family first. One of her passions in life was shopping and cooking food. She will be forever remembered for her cooking skills that she has passed down to her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kathleen (Shane) Simpson and Melanie Zeitler; her grandchildren, Miranda and Patricia Anderson, Skylar and Dane Whittier, Allana McGrath, and Lyric Zeitler; seven great-grandchildren; her siblings, Vicki (Gary) Morel, Tanya Johnson, Patti Anderson, Cindy (Dave Bostwick) Anderson, Betty Anderson, Arvid "Ray" (Christle) Anderson, Kathy Witte, and Richard and Edward Roach.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents.
