Charles Wayne Clements, 66, of Marseilles, passed away Wednesday March 30, 2022 at OSF Little Company of Mary in Evergreen Park.

Services will be private. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

He was born November 5, 1955, Ottawa, to Harold Henry and Annie Eugena (Pennington) Clements. In 1985, he married Diane (Bianco) Shelton who preceded him in death in 2016.

He was employed by American Hurst and then by Sponge Cushion in Morris until his retirement. Wayne was a hard worker and enjoyed working in his yard and around his house.

He is survived by his mother, Annie Eugena Clements of Peru, two sisters, Kathryn (Gary) Ritchie of Peoria and Teddy Maxine (Lynn) Brown of LaSalle; a step-daughter, Jamie (Tom McNabb) Moore of Morris; two grandchildren, Edward (Emma) Wendell and Fancy (Stephanie) Moore; and one great-grandson, Samuel.

He was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Diane; one daughter, Ashley Marie Clements in infancy; a step-daughter, Debra Smith; three step-grandchildren; one brother, Donnie Clements; and two sisters, Geraldine Clements and Inez May Clements.
