Carol Ann Burns, 54, of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 at OSF Saint Francis in Peoria.

Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Hefner of the Church of God officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was born October 20, 1964, in Detroit, MI, to George and Barbara Jean (Dieboldt) McKinley. She grew up in Dyersburg, TN until the death of her parents. She then moved to Marseilles to live with Kay Robison.

Carol was a graduate of Marseilles High School. She was employed by Community Hospital of Ottawa, Ottawa Hospital, and St. Elizabeth for over thirty years.

She is survived by two sons, John Russell Burns Jr. and Andrew Nicholas Burns, both of Ottawa; one granddaughter, River Ann Burns; one aunt, Kay Robison; and cousins, Diana (Randy) Boaz and Sam (Charleen) Robison.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her uncle, Sam Robison.
