Brian Dean Marshall, 53, of Marseilles, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Seneca, IL.

Brian was born on January 30, 1971, in Belvidere, IL, to Orval "Butch" and Carol (Stumpf) Marshall. On June 12, 1999, he married Sherri Blackburn who preceded him in death in 2011.

Brian was a graduate of Seneca Grade School and Seneca High School, where he was a standout athlete in football and track and field. He was employed at R.R. Donnelley and Forbo Chemical. He also enjoyed riding his Harley, listening to AC/DC and Jason Aldean, and being with his grandbabies.

He is survived by his three children, Danielle Marshall, Steve Casey, and Allyson Shwartz; his five grandchildren, Alannah Casey, Skyler Casey, Rose Whitecotton, Neveah Casey, and Aubree Senisais; his parents, Carol and Butch Marshall; one brother, Sam (Allison) Marshall; his father-in-law, Jim Willis; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Sherri, and his grandparents.
