Beverly A. Callahan, 74, of Ransom, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Arc at Dwight.

Funeral Services will be private. Cremation Rites were entrusted to Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles.

Bev was born on September 3, 1950, in Bloomington, IL, to Bert and Mary (Noland) Leach. On December 30, 1972, she married Rudd Callahan of Marseilles who preceded her in death in 2012.

She was employed by Westclox and then later as a CNA at local nursing homes until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Bev is survived by her three children, Jeremy Callahan, Carrie (Greg) Punke, and Russell (Courtney) Callahan; six grandchildren, Karlie and Riley Punke, Briggs, Nash, Rhett and Jhett Callahan; her siblings, Kathy (Mike) Gerding, Becky (Terry) Harvey, Bud Leach, and Janet Acuff; and her four sisters-in-law, Priscilla Welch, Nancy Melton, Linda Harvey and Debbie Callahan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudd; her parents; one brother, Roger Leach; and three brothers-in-law, Rick Acuff, Ronald Callahan, and Dave Harvey.
