Betty Alsvick Danielson, 94, of Marseilles, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at her home.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, December 27 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Reverend Philip Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Stavanger Lutheran Cemetery.

She was born on August 8, 1927, in Mission Township, to Bert and Blanche (Orstad) Alsvick. On August 9, 1947, she married Donald Danielson of Stavanger, who preceded her in death in 2018.

Betty was a member of Stavanger Lutheran Church and the Sons of Norway. She graduated from Marseilles High School. She was employed at AT&T in Norway, IL from 1963 to 1965, and then by Seneca High School from 1982 to 1990 when she retired.

She is survived by her children, Karen Einhaus of Seneca, Kent (Sharon) Danielson of Marseilles, and Cheryl (Bruce) Gage of Marseilles; eight grandchildren, Julie (Rich) Hamilton, Donna (Jason) Greve, Jerry (Kristine) Einhaus, Katrina (Derek) Zumbahlen, David (Kelly Zachary) Gage, and Ken, Tim, and Rob Danielson; two step-grandchildren, Jeanette McCloskey and Brian (Brenda) McCloskey; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her special nieces, Donna Walsh, Delores Widero, and Debbie Beach; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Larry and John Danielson; a son-in-law, Jerry Einhaus; two brothers, Don and Milton Alsvick; and a niece, Dorothy Alsvick.

Memorials may be directed to Stavanger Lutheran Church, Stavanger Lutheran Cemetery, or Lightways Hospice in Joliet.

Her grandsons and great-grandsons will be pallbearers.
