Betsy Maye Mills, 78, of Marseilles, passed peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Aperion Care Marseilles.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, February 29 at the Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Troy Tvrdik officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles at a later date.

She was born January 23, 1946, in Ottawa, to Donald and Maxine (Wernstrum) Caputo.

Betsy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marseilles and served on the church's ministry board. She was employed at McDonalds and Ottawa Community Hospital in food service until her retirement. Throughout her retirement, she enjoyed needlepoint and word searches.

She is survived by her sister, Donna (Michael) Barr of Marseilles.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Deena Marie Mills.

Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church of Marseilles.
