Armendy M. Rutherford, 83, of Ottawa formerly of Tellico Plains, TN, passed away Monday April 9, 2018, at Aperion Care Center.

Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Wednesday April 11 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating.  Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Tellico Plaines, TN.

She was born March 21, 1935 in Tellico Plains, TN, to Fate and Louise (Harris) Baker.  On July 26, 1950, she married J.L. Rutherford of Tellico Plains, TN.

She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing with her friend Harold.

She is survived by one daughter, Martha (Sam) Selmanaj of Ottawa; two sons, Avery (Char) Rutherford of Marseilles and Calvin Rutherford of Tellico Plains, TN; and Kathy Rutherford; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three sisters, Nina, Ruth, and Dora, all of Tennessee; and her good friends, Karen (Bruce) Johnson and Judy (Brian) Miller.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Oleeta Winburn; two brothers, Jr. and Herman; and one sister, Annis.
