Arlene Marie Wise, 79, of Marseilles, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at Ottawa Pavilion.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2021 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Rev. Sherry Stevenson of Crossbridge Community Church officiating. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Friday prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

She was born July 1, 1941 in Hastings, MI to Troy and Katherine Marie (Brown) Wise. In 1959, she married Gerald Thomas Dummitt Sr. of Morris, and in 1969, she married William Baines of MI.

Arlene was a member of the Nazarene Church. She was a devoted mother and wonderful homemaker who was liked by all. Later in life, she worked at the Green Mill.

She is survived by her seven children, Arlene (Thomas) Tschida, Della Dummitt, Barbara (Bill) Alms, Gerald (Amber) Dummitt, Marjorie (Al) Girard, all of Ottawa, Joseph Baines of LaSalle, and Katherine Marie Baines of Ottawa; twelve grandchildren, Brenda Green, Andrew Waterworth, Eric, Casandra, and Jacob Robinson, Jordan, Austin, and Camron Girard, Angeline Alms, Matthew Dummitt, and Harmony and Jasmin Baines; eighteen great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Troy Jr. (Linda) Wise of Ottawa, Joseph (Cindy) of FL, and Paul (Jenae) of FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Jaqueline, one sister; Marjorie Blankenship; and her brother-in-law, Robert Blankenship.
