Arlene B. Enerson, 88, of Aurora, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday July 6, at Galloway Cemetery in Marseilles with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

She was born on August 17, 1933, in Marseilles, to William and Sybil (Fleming) Bock. On May 2, 1953, she married Earl Enerson of Morris, who preceded her in death in 2013.

Arlene was a strong, independent woman who worked in many fields. She owned and operated a ceramics and gift store for many years. She was always busy, whether tendering to her house plants or gardening in her backyard. She enjoyed her last job in guest relations at Hollywood Casino in Aurora for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by one daughter, Angie (James) Smithey of New Albany, MS; one son, Jamie (Jeni) Enerson of Aurora; five grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl; and two sons, Terry Enerson and Kim Enerson.
