Anita L. Coffey, 72, of Marseilles, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Streator.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marseilles with Rev. Anthony Ego officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.

Anita was born November 2, 1944, in Ottawa, to Rolland "Dick" and Rose (Mussatto) Allen. She had been married to Robert Coffey who preceded her in death in 2014.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She bowled in the Marseilles Bowling Leagues for many years and was employed by the Marseilles Public Library and the Marseilles Congregational Church.

Anita is survived by her son, Mike (Patricia) Coffey of Plainfield; three grandchildren, Matthew, Jack, and Katie; a niece, Sarah Giffin; and her good friend, Dolly Faynik.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; and her aunt, Anita Mussatto.

Memorials may be given to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or the Marseilles Public Library.
