Alice L. Cox, 97, of Morris, formerly of Marseilles, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at The Gardens at Park Pointe in Morris.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12 noon Monday, July 23, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marseilles with Rev. Ghislain Inai officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with the Rosary recited at 5 p.m.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.

She was born on April 12, 1921, in Compton, IL to Michael and Josie (Cover) Farrell.  In 1940, she married Charles Cox of Marseilles who preceded her in death in 1992.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.  She owned and operated Commercial Printing with her husband for many years.

Alice is survived by one daughter, Betty (Jason) Hunter of Nashville, Tenn.; two sons, Charles (Elaine) of Huntley and Edward (Claire) of Cumby, TX; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters, Helen Curran and Hazel Serby; and three brothers, James, Francis, and Willis Farrell.

Her grandchildren will be pallbearers.
