Alan B. Vandenbroucke, 75, of Marseilles, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at LaSalle County Nursing Home.

Private services will be held at a later date. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

He was born on July 12, 1948, to Ruth (Umbras) Vandenbroucke. On March 21, 2010 he married Catherine Pryde Bilek of Marseilles who survives.

Alan was employed as an electrician for IBEW 149 for almost 50 years until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife Catherine; one sister, Linda David; and one brother, Robert A. (Anita) Dohrmann.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Dohrmann.

Memorials may be directed to Lightways Hospice in Joliet.
