Agnes "Aggie" E. Orvis, 69, of Seneca passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Rush Copley Medical Center.

Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles at a later date. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Aggie was born on August 2, 1952, in Fort Benning, GA, to John and Armella (Gast) Sontag. On October 3, 1979, she married Dennis Orvis of Seneca who survives.

After raising her children, she was employed by Casey's in Seneca for twenty-one years until her retirement. She loved her family and grandchildren, and she was a selfless, hardworking woman with a great sense of humor.

She is survived by her husband Dennis; her children, John Orvis of Prescott, AZ and Patricia (Nicholas Munchalfen) Orvis of Lockport; three grandchildren, Ryan Orvis and William and Reid Munchalfen; and her four sisters, Jennifer (Earl) Breazeale, Cynthia (Mike) Spinnato, Sheryl (Jim) Preacher, and Deborah (Fleet) Odom.

She was preceded in death by parents and her two brothers, John Sontag Jr. and James Sontag.
