Richard E. Rollo, 86, of Marseilles, passed away Sunday July 29, 2012 at Rivershores Care Center.

Masonic services will be by the Marseilles Masonic Lodge #417 A. F. & A. M. at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

He was born December 26, 1925 in Miami, FL to Arthur and Eva (Kiner) Rollo. In 1948, he married Doris Tongate of Marseilles.

He served in the Air Force during W. W. II. He was employed by Caterpillar Tractor in Joliet as a machinist for 31 years until his retirement. His hobby was watch and clock repair.

He was a member and past Worshipful Master of Marseilles Masonic Lodge No. 417. Richard was a member of Bloomington Consistory, the Mohammed Shrine of Peoria, the Joliet Council No. 82 Royal and Select Masters, the Joliet Commandery, the Ottawa Commandery No. 10, the Knight of York Cross of Honor, the Amaranth Queen Cristina Court No. 4, the York Rite, the Eastern Star No. 398 in Marseilles, and the Olivet Shrine No. 35 in Ottawa.

He is survived by his wife, Doris; two daughters, Janet Seymour of Coal City and Cindy Thorson of Marseilles; one son, Art Rollo of Arizona; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one sister, Catherine Lockas of Bradenton, FL.

He was preceded in death by one brother, John; one sister, Ethel Ream; and two sons-in-law, Jerry Seymour and Dale Thorson.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
