Maxine J. Spampanato, 87, of Marseilles, passed away Wednesday July 18, 2012 at Rivershores Care Center.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles with Monsignor J. Brian Rejsek officiating. There will be no visitation. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles is in charge of arrangements.

She was born December 2, 1924 in Morris to Walter and Ellen (Rickman) Spencer. On April 10, 1948 she married Ralph Spampanato who preceded her in death in 1961.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Cindi Brennan of Katy, TX and one sister Doris Downs of Chicago.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Cindy Spampanato and Deborah Brennan; one son, Phil Spampanato; one sister Ruth Vangelisti and four brothers, Russell, Royal, Kenneth and Donald.
