Charles E. Grill, 87, of Marseilles, formerly of rural Lacon, passed away on Monday July 2, 2012 at Rivershores Care Center in Marseilles.

Private services will be held at a later date. Seals-Campbell was in charge of arrangements. He was born May 31, 1925 in Belle Plain Twp. near La Rose, IL to Antone and Elizabeth (Kamp) Grill. In 1948 he married Norma Jessup of Washburn who survives.

He farmed all of his life in the rural Lacon area until his retirement in 2008.

He is survived by his wife Norma; two sons, Thomas (Becky) of Marseilles and Samuel (Priscilla) of Morris; three grandchildren, Matthew of Marseilles, Jenna Grill of Peoria and Heather King of Bloomington.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Lorene Shirley.

Memorials may be directed to the First Congregational Church of Christ in Marseilles.
