Samuel H. Robison, 84, of Marseilles, passed away Wednesday March 14, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17 at Marseilles Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Bill Clark officiating. Military honors will be by the Marseilles Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the church.

He was born September 3, 1927 in Valley City, Ill. to Lee and Frances (Clostermery) Robison. In 1947, he married Catherine Coil of Beardstown, IL.

He attended Marseilles Church of the Nazarene. Sam served in the Army during W. W. II and was a member of the American Legion Post 235. He was employed by Material Service Corp. and then by the city of Marseilles until his retirement.

Sam is survived by his wife, Kay; one daughter, Diana (Randy) Boaz of Marseilles; one son, Samuel L. (Charleen) of Marseilles; four grandchildren, Matt, Jon and Andrew Robison and Shannon Sailer; two great- grandsons, Phoenix and PT; two sisters, Rosalee (Bill) Arnel of Quincy and Wanda (George) Clostermery of Beardstown and one brother, Dean (Verla) Robison of Warsaw, IL.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Frances Bradley and one brother, Frank Robison.
